This little guy will break your heart, then crawl right into it. Sunny was found as a stray, thin and obviously not well cared for. His teeth were so bad that he didn’t want to be touched. He was in so much pain. Out vet took a chest x-ray to look at the condition of his heart and discovered he had been shot with a BB. He has a slightly enlarged heart and takes Vetmedin twice a day.

When he first arrived at FLFO, he was reluctant to come near anyone. But we could tell he wanted to be loved. Once the bad teeth were removed and the infection treated, he’s now a complete lovebug. He wants to snuggle next to you and be held. The shelter estimated he was 16 years old, based on his physical condition but we think he’s younger. We’re estimating him to be around 12. Sunny loves long walks and has great stamina.
